Cliff Riser 4.5% Pale Ale. After Cliff Riser’s initial limited release finally our Spring Seasonal is available for all to enjoy. This pale ale is typical of the traditional Burton ales with the familiar Goldings hops added at the end of the boil. This beer was popular at The Big Bournemouth Beer Festival and Southbourne Shake ‘n’ Stir.
Grockles 4.5% Blonde Ale. Here we have a gulp of swallows, amongst the UK’s most well known tourists. Grockles Blonde Ale is also here just for the summer with its refreshing peach aromas. As the first of our beers to be available as bottle conditioned your new favourite can make it to the BBQ or even down the beach for the Air Show.
Headlander 4.2% Bitter. The significant exultation of skylarks breeding at Hegistbury head is celebrated with our special Headlander Beer. Skylarks with their exceptional song and distinctive flight have suffered greatly from modern farming practices. Headlander is brewed using spring sown barley which provides the birds easier landing in the thinner crops and a longer breeding season.
Dear Beer Lover,
Sunbather is finally jere amd brings a welcome change in the weather with it.
This second stage of our journey introduces the red ales, with sunbather being a fruity, full bodied and sweet ale of just 4%. Its pronounced flavours include toffies and oranges.
overall it’s not quite what you’d expect from a beer as anovice; but that’s what makes ales great, the diversity of styles and flavours.
The red ales of Ireland which can be sampled in the taverns of the Temple Bar area of Dublin are quite different than our English ales and hopefully we shall be recreating the taste and experiencing some of the craic down the pub here in Dorset.
The hops have just been ordered including Galena, which impart some grape and peach flavours.
Dear Beer Lovers and beer Novices,
Today is the first day of our adventure in flavour. Over the next 9 months we shall be traveling on a journey through the delights of real ale.
Our first port of call is Paddler a 3.6% light ale. It’s the ideal starting point, with its soft flavours and refreshing pallet, to train the pallet in the joy of all that is beer related.
